Just a quick question. Has anyone spray painted the stock Jimny 3 -spoke alloy wheels WHITE and do you have photos? I'll probably do it in the next month and am still mulling over High Gloss or Matte White.

These Mags...

Normally have these White Sunraysia Steel Rims on...

Better pic. Taken the muds off and ready to start stripping the clearcoat off the mags.

I haven't heard them called mags for years!  I think the term survives in some former colonies.  My brother-in-law uses it a lot, but he rode BMX bikes when they used to have cast wheels.

White Enkei 6-spokes are quite popular on old MX-5s.

White looks great - if you keep them clean - otherwise they just look unloved. Meanwhile over in LCV Jimmy land those poverty spec black steel wheels really don't show up the brake dust stains for ages.

Depends on the brake pads and discs - I have another car with black alloys and the brake dust is definitely reddish-brown - it shows up almost as quickly as it does on silver wheels.  The less open design of steel wheels probably keeps more of the dust on the hidden side, though.
