Hi I am currently building a tray back Jimmy the cab and cage is done also put a 1.9 TDI motor in it and am 4 linking it ATM using land rover axles 24 spline my issue is how have people made prop shafts fit ? Have they made a spacer as such to make it bolt on or can you swap yoke from land rover and fit to sj prop or dose the sliding part of the prop from land rover for the sj one so have land rover end to diffs and original shaft to transfer I'm running a sj crawler box to hence sj props .any info would be much appreciated thanks guys and girls

The ratios in Land Rover diffs are not much use with a Suzuki transfer box to my understanding and for this reason, along with the inherent strength, people use Toyota axles.

The props are completely different between Suzukis and Land Rovers as they are completely different animals. Custom props or spacers with the Land Rover prop bolt holes drilled may work if the prop lengths work.

There is a lad running them in his Jimmy in our 4x4 club he has not got crawler box in it yet it crawls ..I'm running a crawler t case box and 1.9 TDI motor land rover 300 TDI fuel pump should push along fine and I'm aware the prop shafts are different..but I'm thinking make a spacer if you like drilled to suit land rover diff and then machined to fit the sj prop shaft via other holes ..or dose somebody know of a other way as see people use land rover wide angle props been used on sj etc ... A nd before somebody says why not ask him who in off road group .he only shows to some events so hard to find lol... as for axle and props fitting in length I'm 4 linking it so I can make the axle to sute any way also bringing front forward 2 inch to prevent tyre ripping arch as my other one dose ATM
