Got to 80 once and that was enough for me. Must be getting old...

Definitely. Overtaking the occasional HGV at 65 is as much excitement as I can take.

My last vehicle was a Vaux Combo van. It was the heavy duty version with low mileage and light use. At 7 years old I spent £700 on springs and shocks to get it through the MOT. I wanted something that would take the potholes, that I could do some basic jobs myself and to get up the occasional track for beekeeping.

I didn't expect to enjoy driving the Jimny so much. If I had the money I would want another for offroading. It's likely to remain my only vehicle until I win the lottery and buy an Ariel Nomad and Morgan 3 wheeler.
