I would disable the air bag prior to swopping over, disconnect the battery and the inline fuse(fuse panel) give it a few minutes before stripping out.
Happy swopping

Did anyone try any of these swaps? I got my hands on a brand new leather wrapped swift sport wheel. I hope it fits

You will probably find that the connectors are different.

Well, my OEM wheel doesn't have an airbag, so no worries there. I just hope the splines are the same.

Hey, just bought a Suzuki Jimny 2003 model in Australia. the steering wheel is falling apart and need a new one. Any ideas on where i can find any steering wheel that will fit with a working Airbag. OEM or not need a wheel with an Airbag that isn't falling apart on me.
