Jimny swap 1.6 CRANKSHAFT question was created by danielayesta
Hello there my friends, i just finished the 1.6 lt swap on my jimny with a baleno block, i had a lot of trouble doing it because of the problems getting parts in my coutry, but i made it.

In the middle of the swap i was putting together the block, with news pistons and rings, and it happends to be that the pistons where 5mm lower from the block that it sould be, i mesure the pistons, the conecting rods and finally the crankshaft travel, i discovered that the lenght of the crankashaft whas 5mm lower than te original baleno crankshaft whitch is 9,5cm... i came up with diffrent opcions, form finding conecting rods 5mm longer, to honda civic 95 big dome pistons to cover the 5mm, at the end i found another crankshaft and jut build it like that.

With that been said, i wanted to know what car does the smaller crankshaft belongs ?... is not the 1.3... idk if theres a special edision vitara, baleno or swift that holds that crankshaft, im looking forward to sell it but i want to sell it with the right specifications.

Hope you guys could help me.

Sorry for the bad grammar.
