Wheel spacers - what's the real deal? was created by Mick C
Wheel spacers divide opinions across many 4x4 forums - but what's the experience of those that have actually used them on a Jimny?
I can appreciate that they would add more strain to various components, but so would off-set wheels - which don't seem to be half as controversial. Anyone fit them and suffered instantaneous catastrophic meltdown?

My was fitted with 1" (25mm) Spidertrax spacers. I had no problem with the spacers but my Jimny eats wheel bearings and I believe that removing the wheel spacers has slightly improved the situation

Cheers Gromit!
I know you like to give it some stick, how long you had them on for?
