Yep it's like the one above and it definetley is a rear bar as the bloke I bought it off used to have it on his jimny. Thanks for pic I've had a look around and I can literally so no part as to where the bar attaches to the chassis. The guy I got it from recons there's pre drilled holes but again I couldn't see these and neither could my other halves dad.... Is it just literally a bracket and two bolts either side that it attaches with?
Thanks

doubt it mounts to the tow bar mounting points, it looks to long for that as tow bars mount above the tie down points.
have you got underneath and offered it up to see where the holes "should" be?

Yep I held it whilst my other halves dad moved it around to see where it fitted and it just didn't look right

Mine looks the same as that (only black) and there are a couple of brackets/clamps that bolt around the chassis on both sides. You then bolt the bar to the brackets using the holes fixed to the bar.
Hope this helps

If it does need brackets get back to the guy you bought it off see where they are, and why he never mentioned it?
2 choices I reckon you got now
1 get your money back and return it
2 get some brackets made for it, but depends on cost.
