I've used www.4x4at.com for tyres many times over the years and would also recommend them. I've always taken a drive over to get them fitted so don't know what they're like on delivery.
Mark Sowden / Sowden Tyres is good on price for remoulds, I think he offers wheels as well - you have to ring him for a price though - his website technology isn't that advanced yet.

The lighter the car the more aggressive the tyres will need to be if you work on their theory of not having the weight to push the tyre into the ground enough to get traction.
This is exactly where I am at now I am geting more extreme with my offroading. I run Kumho KL71's which I think are a great all round MT tyre - except I now need more - so I'm looking at getting Special Tracks or another brand other than Insa Turbo but with the same tread pattern.

Yeah I didnt really understand what they were on about. I'm currently running cooper discoverer stt's on the disco and their very good in the mud but if I'm buying another wheel and tyre package I was thinking of going down the special track route as their pretty much as aggressive as you can get! And with them being retreads they may be cheaper!kirkynut wrote: I'm not sure where the person who made the comment about special tracks not being very good on a light car was coming from.

What size are you going to go for? And what lift do you have? I havent lifted mine yet so I'm just seeing what lifts and tyre sizes other people have to get some inspiration!!kirkynut wrote: Yes they are the most aggressive about really and they are reasonably priced and about the cheapest of that tread pattern. Maletesta are priced similarly and do the same tread pattern and more size options than Insa Turbo. I've not heard anything much about them though.
