I have found a few good sites for jimny bits but I'm finding it hard to find a good place to buy a wheel and tyre package for my jimny. Can anyone help me or tell me where they bought their wheels/tyres from?
I'm after special tracks or similar but I will consider different tread patterns if anyone can tell me what is best on a jimny. A few people have told me that special tracks will be rubbish on a jimny as there is no weight and they wont dig in when off road. Is this right? A couple of my mates have them but their on landys so they weigh a tonne anyway!

Cheers buddy I'll check them out. What size tyres have you got fitted? I think I'm going for a 3" lift so I want some reasonably big tyres!Adamski wrote: try www.4x4at.com . it is a very smart place and i have just bought a set of brand new 15 x 7 offset modular wheels in black from there for £28 each which i dont think is too bad. i also managed to pick up my very nobbly off road tyres from ebay at not too bad a price with 15mm of tread on each.

my tyres are 205 75 15. i have a 3" lift and i can honestly say thoes size tyres on the offset modulars are absolutley perfect. the tyres are nice and chunky and the offset wheels give it a nice wider track however they dont rub and there is no arch cutting required. i had thoes tyres on the standard 15 x 6 non offset Jimny steel wheels and the car looked rubbish, the track was far too skinny. when im on my pc tomorrow i'll upload some photos.

you can also get them from silverline as a package with wheels
be careful what size you get because when new they measure slightly larger than the quoted size
I have 31" on mine but I have a three inch lift + 2" coil spacers and the inner arches have been trimmed
