I know whats involved just wondered the price its cost people me being picky with finding a good motor makes it look expensive

Just look on eBay and see how much an engine costs then allow for oil and filter, antifreeze, spark plugs and a couple of gaskets if its a twin cam, if your fitting 16g do you need an adapter plate?

I picked up a good Baleno motor for £80, got the adapter from Rob Storr, the top gearbox bolts from Suzuki and modified the oil pick up and engine mount myself; it must have cost less than £200 all in. I reckon it was much better off-road as you needed less throttle and less revs so it was a lot more controllable.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I can find any good cheep motors looking around 400-500 for any thing that soubds worth buying

yea still running standard t box as rich says,been trying to get a 410 t box but keep getting dropped in it with them,running 195 80 15's but im going to go to 215 80 15,a friend runs this size on the 1.3 and it manages so with the 1.6 i should be ok
