Good effort :)

Fit the lift kit first, then you'll be able to crawl under to fit the transfer guard with using ramps :)

Good idea! although it is only 2 inches! The 4” lift Rus has makes it a proper monster.

I got it from Jimnybits. Basically I wanted the premium lift kit but didn’t like the colour of the springs or shocks. So they coated the springs in the colour I wanted and swapped the black raptor shocks for ones from AVO as they are black and red. All made in the UK too which is nice.

My replacement dash cam turned up. It's a DDpai mini2 and having done a few trails against my current Nextbase 412 it's a big improvement. It's small enough to go behind the mirror and the app makes the video very easy to access and share. I also like the remote button that allows you to take photographs at any time, or you can do it by the app.
Great little dash camera capturing those iffy drivers and also an action camera when you are the iffy driver off-road!

Button is about a new 50p for size comparison.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

I'm thinking about dash cams front and rear, so I will look these up. Cheers!

I hate rust, so the odd little rusty cup washer and bracket on my Jimny has made me over complicated the solution.
Over the last few days the parts for my home nickel plating kit have arrived, all sourced from eBay (China UK stock!) to keep the cost very low. Yes the electrolyte heater and agitation unit look suspiciously like fish tank parts, the tank looks like a sandwich box and the chemicals I've ordered have MI6 sitting outside my house, but I am confident it will work...;)
I'll let you know how it goes.
Why bother? Why not, I've always fancied a go at alchemy.

There is a chance.
Don't know what bothers me more, the fumes or the cheap Chinese heater in water.
Some rubber mat to stand on and hold my breath - that the H+S covered.

They where using a kit on bad obsession motor sports the other day, I must say there was a bit more involved in it than I was expecting but the result was good

My new "loud" beep beep maker turned today to replace the meek beep beep maker on the Jimny. Turned up a lot quicker than I expected, less than 24hrs to my door. It's the compact version so hopefully it will be easy to fit.

20p for size comparison but also intended for the Jimny ---- the change holder

Sorry Lambert, it's another loud Scania Jimny.. :woohoo:
