I backed my Jimny into my solid brick home today and the house didn't have any give at all  So off to the wreckers and replace the large reflector/reverse light fixture on the drivers side and lots of silver gaffer tape to hold the rear bumper together until I can get a replacement or make one up like I've always planned.

Then I took the Jimny to mechanic to have new front wheel-bearings, knuckle kit and king pins etc replaced. Will get Jimny back sometime next week.

For the next few days will have to take the Ford to work so a bit of luxury and comfort for me. 300cu in of supercharged in-line 6 and brakes that actually pull up when I want ;) Good old Ford.

Welded behind headlights, fitted new power steering box and extended steering column, fitted new steering arm ball joints, stripped front winch off and cleaned it, then gave the front bumper a coat of black paint inside and out, swapped wheels over for MOT
Will paint rear bumper tonight if it doesn't rain.

It's better if you do get breakdown out, its what keeps some of us in a job.
