On Monday I gave the 'Jimny' a good ‘Jet-wash’ underneath, a few days to dry off.
To-day called over to a very good friends place who has a compressor & all the kit to use with ‘Waxoyl’

I’m well pleased now I have good coating of ‘cold custard’ on the parts other stuff cannot reach.
We used about half a ‘gallon’ can so plenty for a top up should I feel the need .......... ;)

Made a very basic step which bolts onto my rear recovery points, when I say step what I actually mean is a length of box section  it's only for standing on when aaccessing my roof rack. It will have to come off when offroading. No pi s yet as have just given it a coat of satin black hammerite :)

Fixed my rear diff as the pinion shaft was rattling and leaking oil, found the flange nut had come loose :-) so my new diff will get put safely as a spare. And replaced a leaky rear shock.

Following the 'Waxoyl' treatment to the underside I thought it only right to give a 'top-up' to the paintwork I didn't want the Jimny to implode ..........
The 'waxoyl' now has a nice tacky dry feel to it so looks like all is well.
Most things were given a covering fingers crossed it should help in the next 'artic winter' to come ..... ;)
