Ordered a new PCV and seal. Have an annoying shudder at idle and apparently this could be a solution. If not then new plugs will be next followed by coil packs. Fingers crossed!

Did you try flushing the PCV valve with carburettor cleaner? I did that and it worked ok when I blew through it.

Changed my Norwegian insurance to more coverage as the used car price if i had to replace it, is higher now than when I bought it in 2016. And rising.
Had insurance just for theft and glass and fire, but now also for accidents of my own fault or single accidents.
Also now extras is insured up to 5000€ was just up to 1000€.
Asked to insure extras and equipment for more but cannot as the car is older than 9 years.
price went up from 360 to 520€ /year for 12000km

As a little treat I took my Jimny for a drive in the snow, down some selected gentle lanes and back roads, including a few snow covered hills, my Jimny loved it.
I checked 2 and 4wd, exploring the limits of the grip in 2wd and a couple of controlled rear end slides, just to check the behaviour in case you have to do it for real.
A very enjoyable short trip out, sadly no photos.
