Technically yesterday but the wife and I did a fairly long (550-600kms) round trip. Heading inland and up the infamous Sani Pass, in to Lesotho for lunch and returning home to Durban, South Africa.

We did this with the Suzuki Jimny Owners Club of Kwa-Zulu Natal whom we'd never met but we had a great time for my first real off-road outing!

Iv taken the back seats out in my jim and found when looking for bits in the back at night it can be a bit dark so where the seat belts used to bolt in I put some small lights operated from a switch on the dash found the to be quite handy

Indeed it is Kirkynut!

We climbed from sea-level to 2800 odd metres above sea level, had to stop and help a stuck tourist kn a motorcycle and passed cars just getting by, doing some boulder crawling and a few shallow stream-crossings and the Jimnys never missed a beat!

Got some new lights, that I've wanted for ages. (They looked scratched but its just the protective film)

It looks so much like a new GMC. I can't tell the difference !! Can you ?

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.
