'Looks like we need bigger ramps'

Well after getting the Jimny replacement 'up together' I thought I would 'top up' the under-seal on the Vitara'.

The problem being the ramps I have used in the past were just not worth taking a chance on, so borrowed a set to get underneath today.
I gave the underside a good jet-wash yesterday morning followed with a short run to blow away any excess & left it out in warm air.

The Vitara has much more in the way of standard under-seal I've just given it an added coating.

Lovely B)

you've got the best colour ;)

the wife's is light silver which maybe better for hidding dirt  but doesn't look right, and makes it look a much bigger car

I don't like the way the big back box is on display though, I scowl at it every time I walk past it on the drive, how sad

so how are you enjoying rattle free comfort again

Not sure what you mean by that but I had the fright of my life t'other day. :woohoo: I went up one of my sets of ramps in my Junior and straight off the end. :( Thank the Lord the car is taller than the the ramps or they'd have been jammed under. But even luckier, I just missed the garage door wall; I had visions of a bent wing and smashed headlamps. Now I tend to jack the motor first and slip the ramps under or go up in four wheel drive.

I have or had a rattle can of 'high temp' black paint & was going to do just that, problem is it seems to have moved to another shelf in the garage ......

A tow-bar would cover it, I'll think on it .... ;)

The yellow set I have used in the past are just not wide enough for these 'massive' 17" tyres .... :woohoo:
