It just sits there in all the tight spots for months doing its thing, and then when it's time to actually go greenlaning, there's bugger all of your truck left

I'm surprised Ollie's truck has got in that state, it has always been my understanding that NZ doesn't use salt.
Correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Gus :)

EDIT So while I'm writing...Ollie says exactly the opposite...guess I was wrong all along !!!!

I live in the UK ;) but you are correct nz doesn't use salt on their roads in winter, it's to environmentally unfriendly they use cma (calcium magnesium acetate) instead.

Sometimes known as the rear engine mount, you'll find it on the underside of the main gearbox tail, just forward of the prop flange.
About 3 1/2 x 2 1/2".
Two pieces bonded together, the rubber separates with age/stress....push upwards on the gearbox tail and see if the two pieces come apart.
£ 30.00 from Martin, dead easy to change.
