Attempted to do my passenger side king pins tonight. Got vacuum hub off and straight away I could see a whole load of rusty colour oil and fluid. Disk backing plates rusted and bolts holding them on knackered. Its going to be a full wheel and king pin bearing rebuild.
Oh, and one of the sliders on my caliper is seized. So, nothing much to do then :huh:

I've replaced my rear adjustable panhard rod tonight as the old one's been on it so long the lock nut is seized solid.
I have used everything but heat to undo it and given the low price of new KAP ones, which are what's already on it, I thought I'd treat it to some new ones.
I adjusted the front a week or so again to get the axle centred - a job that's needed doing for far too long, but the rear was not laying ball.
All fitted and centred up now though so another job jobbed.

Continued with hub strip down. Took ages to get locking nut off. Wheel bearing showing early signs of failure and is full of rusty coloured grease. Bottom king pin undone and more of the same.

Looks like it will do a great job 
I started fitting my CB radio today, aerial all fitted on the rear door and the wire run under the carpet to the front, i just need to mount it and wire it all up tomorrow.
