LoL!

Here I go again! Forgot to take before shots so you'll have to use your imagination.

So, I've had this Rhino Rays front bumper for nearly 3 years, bought used and then left it under the bench.
Till today!

Someone had drilled holes in it to attach a front number plate instead of double sided tape, or my favourite, sticky magnetic sheet.

So I dragged the mig out and welded up the holes and then ground flat again.

As I said earlier, I forgot the Before pictures.

What do you guys recommend to get the old black lumpy paint off?
Blow torch or paint stripper?

Angle grinder with wire cup brush is too noisy and makes my hand go numb.

Took the other toy for its first day out on the back of the Jimny.
My old man has spent all winter doing the boat upm youl'd never know it's 40 years old and was black when I bought it!

Towed lovelly, hardly knew it was there and the wing mirrors are so big on the Jim you can see down both sides including the trailer tyres and the straps holding the boat down even though its almost 7 ft wide.

Got lots of admiring looks and a few nice comments too.

No problems. 3inch lift and es1000 shocks. Ride is quite nice on road with a bit more weight on the back axle but the nose weight of the trailer is only about 45kgs, so could be that we were 3 up as well as the trailer weight. Passenger in the rear seat in photos, no one in the front so it looks a bit back heavy but isn't.

Should have built the trailer without a launch trolley though, would have been a good excuse to drive in to the river down the slipway to get the boat on and off!
