So this week was an expensive one with dual rear wheel bearing replacements and front king pins sorted also! But when your odo reads this...

...they're probably well overdue!

I might have a look see at doing that - I did not think of fitting them to there myself - I did not think outside the box!

I may have a plan for rear speakers in a different position though!

Watch this space eh!

when I was looking at places for rear speakers there were a few places I thought about. I took the back seats out so I could pull all the panels out of the back. There were probably 4 places that speakers could go, but I chose the rear door because it'd be easier and out of the way.

Halford, just so you know, if you went any bigger than 5.25", you'd risk having them interfere with your foot & pedals. I've seen some people go 6", but because they're a deeper speaker, they poke out more and can get in the way.

RE the air horn. A mate gave it to me told me to try it out. I did. It's ok. My only issue with it is that I realized after I installed it that I blocked my access to the head lights. SO that'll be fin when I need to change a bulb.

So!
After sitting under my bench for well over two years, nearer three, I dragged Rocky 147 out onto the bench, gave him a scrub and a coat of Rustolium satin black (more like gloss).

After I'd started, It struck me that I never take pictures so, out with the Desire and clickety click!

I know some won't like the result but then again, until I turn Jim over in a ditch, :woohoo: presuming I ever get him finished, ;) only me, a MOTer, nobody will see it. B)

So here you go.....

It looks alright to me but I wouldn't have painted the flange as it might affect its ability to drive, you'll end up driving the prop with the bolts.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
