Update on these ... 3 year warranty, but they need 30 amps, so no good for light home use.

If you want to learn to weld don't buy a little buzz box they are appalling
to use and will put you off welding for good!!!!

I am/was a plater/fabricator by trade and loads of my friends have bought
these cheap little welders and asked me why they cant weld with them!!!
The 30amp requirement is because the startup voltage is so high,
you would be ok on a household plug up to arround the 100a mark..

I just replaced my mig welder, had a little Sealey 130a for about
15 years, had it since new mind and i have built allsorts with it
Here it is


And i have replaced it with this bad boy..........

oooo ... My Father is a retired engineer then became a technology teacher. I miss being able to use good equipment like this. Are you available for commissioned work ?

Ahhhhhh brian ya wee bugger,
Thats a nice bit of kit!!!! I really rate the clarke as a budget welder
however i need to upgrade to a euro torch but i need the gas solenoid and dont
have a clue how to wire it up??????

I had a nice peice of kit where i used to work we all had Miller's .... Belting
welders to use,
Ill get a wee pic of my cito-arc Tig that is my pride and joy.......MMMMM love Tig!!!!
