Silly money?

The price is including HD CV joints. There's a reason it's more expensive that rear HD shafts.

You mention a lot of companies are developing this stuff. But do you now anything about pricetag?

I've been told that Longfield in the US are developing HD jimny front shafts as well, but with a pricetag around 1100-1200,- euro.

Ah okay :-)

I've read lots of positive stuff about Rob Storr before.

But the prices listed are not the real expensive stuff, so perhaps they end up just as expensive as the Italian ones?

I'm just guessing now. Haven't talked RS or anything :-)

With all the talk about who is going to make shafts, cvs etc it is very difficult to find them actually for sale. I have just bought from ERM4x4.fr 2 front shafts and 2 uprated cv joints for 654 Euros delivered to my home in France. A good price. I also talked to Zanfi but their shafts and cvs are around 900 Euros plus delivery. The ERM ones fitted easily and the cvs are quite a bit bigger than std. You do have to return to them your old cvs as they reuse the the shaft. I also talked to Rob Storr but he was unable to give a date when they would be available or indeed a price. Shame as I have bought from him in the past, but I wanted to get on with it.
I'll let you know how I get on with them!

Manual VVT, 2 1/2" lift, ORA castor corrected arms, 2" ORA body lift, 4:1 transfer box, Uprated front shafts & CVs ERM , ARBs back & front 3.9 diffs, 6 point cage, ORA winch bumper - Superwinch EP9, ORA rear bumper, ORA axle truses, Diff guards ERM , TBR tank guard, Snorkel, Kumho KL71.30.9.50 15
