Cheers Martin, will have to have a little looksee at that. 
I thought it was my reader that was at fault at first but after plugging it in various other vehicles etc, it works perfectly.
Must be one of those borderline Zooks? :laugh:

I looked under my dashboard briefly this morning, and couldn't find the OBD2 port. 
Could it be that the factory in Japan excludes this port (as it does with the ABS and airbags) when it assembles CBU units for the Philippines?
