If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Don't you have to pay for the 3g then?
Why not just use the phone?
(I can see the point if it works on WiFi, or the bluetooth, now that is free, you could use it to adjust the telly aerial or to talk to someone upstairs without shouting.)
