£460 with 6 hours to go and 9 bids - me thinks it will go up somewhat yet!

Could still be a bargain yet though!

That's the one, absolute bargain for someone!

Shows what time of year to buy a 4x4!

last week saw a local X-reg on gumtree for £1300 :woohoo:

definitely now's the time to buy

Prices have bombed after peaking before the the non-existent terrible winter.

Prices are also helped by rising unemployment and insecurity, people just aren't prepared to spend their cash so some real bargains for any type of products at present.

But I still can't get a tow-bar for a decent price (locally) - plenty of cheap trailers though

you have read my thoughts, using the force I had sensed it's presence yet my powers were unable to reach the kingdom named Stafford.

However, if anyone ever passes betwixt the Southern regions (midlands to most I guess) and the North East - I'll give you five minutes with wor Cheryl Cole (or joe mcelderry if you'd prefer) if you'd care to pick up and drop it off.

have asked the seller if he will use the force (parcelforce) = he's replied that he will :)

so now need to ask - what about electrics, is it easy to make up my own or worth waiting for a bar with a connector ?

The wiring is simple and the cheapest part. Its universal essentially, my local factors sell it off a reel and you cut it to the length you want. All you need then is the plug and if you want it mounting on the ball then a plate to mount it of course.
If you off-road reasonably heavily though i'd put it out of the way as others have done on here, mines been bent in every direction and is usually filled with mud after a day playing.

You can buy a kit on eBay of the socket, mounting plate and the cable wired to the socket with some nasty scotchlok connectors included to join the wires inside the wing for less than you can buy just the little bit of wire from a motor factor (unless you get mates rates)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
