JUST BOUGHT MY 2nd JIMNY

I know what what your saying mate but I just want the newer engine for some reason I think they are a little more powerful and I want one thats already had the money spent on it. Would the insurance be affected even though its got a road worthiness certificate with it?? Im not too bothered about resale as I plan on keeping it.

As its local it may be worth a look, But as reaper says, upgrade the jimny you have.
Buying a jimny that has been modded, may not have been done to the standard you would like, that was the problem I had.

best thing to do if you're only 20 mins away is to go look at it then you can decide

d'ya know , if i had had the opportunity to buy a totally standard truck at the time i got mine i think i would have bought it. although mine has all the right mods i think there's something better about doing it yourself how you want it, and obviously the less they have been offroaded it can only be good for the life of the vehicle.

Keep your money and mod yours more. Not sure about the insurance on a previous write off. They don't ask if its ever been written off and I doubt they check...

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHi Im going to look at this motor tonight as its only 10 miles away. Its been built by KAP Suzuki in 2008 so it should be ok providing its not been abused. The bloke said its in really nice condition with not even 40K on the clock. I can have a look for nothing. I havnt got the money my brother is going to lend me it while I sell my jimny. If I was to modify mine any more I would have to sell my pride and joy Motor bike which I really dont want to do. I would also like the newer style engine Not that there is anything wrong with mine it runs sweet as a nut.

looks nice, but will have likely to have been heavily offroaded going by the description. Not that its a bad thing...

Sell your hardtop to fund further mods?

Does it have much more than yours? Bumpers and panhard rods seem to be the only real difference...

I have spoken to Darren today at KAP Suzuki who built this new Jimny and he said he's maintained it over the last four years for the lad who's selling it now. Its been used for a daily drive and only the odd pay & play day so its defiantly not been abused as he said its still a very tidy truck. he said he offered to buy it back last year but the bloke wasnt interested in selling it at that point. Its got the KAP bumpers adjustable panhard rods and the 3" lift. Where as mines got the 2" lift and standard bumpers, Everything I want for mine is on the new truck apart from my winch.
