Thanks Halford. Maybe it will be OK. Or the bits not quite covered would be less noticeable underneath the protector.

Dealership aren't willing to just order a set in to see how it fits - got to buy them first. Times are hard I guess for car dealers. ;)

Many thanks to everyone for your kindness and help. Just got to figure out now when I can spare the car for a day.

I'll post another pic when it is done.

Cheers,
Padz

the dealer will charge you a fortune ........ it really is easy to DIY - come with double sided tape already attached, you simply peel and stick - get yourself some alcho wipes, spectacle cleaner stuff will do and make sure it's totally grease free. ( offer it up a few times before you peel the paper off so you're confident on positioning them) ..

got mine from www.suzuki-shop.co.uk
;)

Why don't you use this as an opportunity to rip your bumpers off and fit steel replacements you can actually use as bumpers! It's ridiculous having a bumper that suffers that much damage from a gate.

Fit steel ones and the gate will come off worse next time.

have a look in the local yellow pages for a chips away franchise
they'll come to your house and fill and spray that for less than buying the trims

we had a local body shop do my sons punto bumper for £80 and the scratches we much deeper than that

Thanks for the thoughts folks. I'll sleep on it and then make my mind up. I really like the look of the bumper protectors so maybe I'll get chipsaway to repair the scuff and then get protectors fitted. I don't want a steel bumper though - I'm a girl!

Thanks again for replying with suggestions and not laughing at me too much.

My jimny is 50/50 owned (she thinks), she won't drive it though as she hates it. In other words can't drive with me in the car.
I'll leave her to the Seat Ibiza
My jimny is only a toy and only used for playing :silly:

Ohh and any dents or scratches send then my way, they all add to the character, not 1 panel is straight! :woohoo: :woohoo:
