Sounds like a locking wheel nut
Check the glove box or where the spare wheel is for the "key" it looks like a socket
If not a good pair of mole grips ifnit isnt an alloy wheel

best of going to halfords n buy a lock nut remover it comes with 2 sizes i had the same problem,then ul av to buy some lock nuts so no one can pinch ur wheel,ther about a tenner saves messin trying to find the right key to fit yours,they have a reverse thred that cuts into the nut grips and then unwinds ur nut simples,but dont tell any robbing buggers.thats if u cant find the key.

I dont think the halfords tool will work with this type as they are closed end , if they are steel wheels you wont have a problem getting some mole grips on the offending nut

i had the plastic cover on the steel wheel so you couldt get in with owt n that one was a closed end.i think it was on hear were someone told me about them i think,as i had the same problem.
