Eee Aww, Eee Always says that!
I take it back about the tyres, last night it had just been raining whilst out for a drive, started climbing uphill after Pachyamos, full right hand hairpin, as I said uphill, 3rd gear, 2900 rpm and the rear end decides to let go. Full right lock managed to catch it, slid towards the inside bank then gripped as I was taking the lock off. Dipped the clutch to catch the revs, got it straight and carried on a little way. Luckily we slid to start with towards the inside bank, If I hadn't taken some of the lock off and it had gone the other way, 200ft drop down the cliffs. That would have buggered my No Claims up!
Just goes to show that you don't need boot loads of revs and speed to get the rear out.
My Carry van was just the same on roundabouts, brilliant fun when no one was watching! LOL!
Not entirely the Jims tyres fault, that stretch of road is a mixture of tarmac, cement and bloody shiny pebbles. When wet, that road is like being a paraletic snake on greased ice.
Seeing as it was still raining further on towards Kato Pyrgos, we turned back and came home and had chicken kebab with chunky chips!
If we go over the Akamas tomorrow, I have a cheap Alba HD video camera and a big sucker doobrie that the camera screws to. I will stick it on the front of the windscreen and hope it doesn't fall off. I've never used it before so don't know how good it is?
It'll probably drop off and I'll run over the thing.
It's the equivalent to Good Friday here tomorrow and obviously the Easter weekend so I have about 250 balloons to blow up. Midnight service Friday and Saturday to attend. (That'll be fun! I know roughly 20 words in Greek and none to do with religion. Mainly, Yes officer, no officer, no they're not my cartridges, yes they should be in the glovebox. BUT that's another story)
Ok, Kalinikta folks, they are about to turn the Wifi off next door. How they know I'm using it I don't know?

Went from here, Neo Chrio to the start of Coral Bay via the Akamas with the vid camera stuck to the windscreen.
The Missus had an appointment at the Gen. Hosp. in Paphos so thought it was a good excuse to go the long way round.
Anyway, I have a 45 minute (yawn) video to upload somewhere and can I? Can I buggery!!
Could it be because it's come out the camera onto my netbook as a Quick Time video???
Oh What to do, what to do??

Here's just a sample.
15 minutes if you can stand it.
Taken me ages to just get this clip uploaded.
Oh well.

Ha haa!
Now I've sussed it, you can all get ready for when I go back in August!!!
Or even for when I get Jim back together and back on the road.

Might get a Go Pro for then though......
