Just to show they are out there - not knowing where you're based:

cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-V-Reg-SUZUKI-Jimny-1...&hash=item2c55f79e52

One to keep an eye on -

cgi.ebay.co.uk/2002-SUZUKI-JIMNY-JLX-RED...&hash=item27b382c2b7

cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-Jimny-1-3-JLX-LOW-...&hash=item3f017033ef

cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-Jimny-JLX-1-3-Soft...&hash=item4aa2fdece3

Watch a load on ebay to see what they fetch and then if some come up near to you, go and have a look to see what they are all about. You'll get an idea of what's what and then be able to buy one with a bit of confidence.

Thanks for everyones advise keep looking at standard ones but think the best way is still to go for one with some mods already done but they seem to be a bit thin on the ground keep looking on pistonheads/e bay and difflock.

If you go for one already built up then you do save money as the "whole" never represents the sum of the parts. However the KAP ones command a premium that represents an instant loss when you come to resell.

Financially a ready built one is better value but you do inherit all the problems and bodges of the previous owner.

good luck with the search

Have you seen Brian's car to be for sale soon on the My Jimmy pages? It's about your budget and look at all you get from someone who knows what they're doing!

I'd be straight onto that before It's gone!
