Do you wave/nod/flash other jimny drivers?

I have only ever had a couple of waves back.

Once i came across a woman in an identical silver Jimny... we were sat opposite one another in pole position at traffic lights
She got a little too excited waving frantically

I generally wave or flash... but LR drivers always ignore

Theres a guy at work with a black auto... who has never even attempted to chat. Bit of a plonka who drives round with sidelights and fog lamps on for some reason!

The 'biker nod' to the modded 4x4's which there are a couple. Have had a few modded disco's wave.

Was a little surprised by the wave's from other 4x4's.

I usually flash, but sometimes hit the wrong stalk and put my wipers on instead. Seems to be more Jimnys about these days

I usually just wave, but if they look like a gearhead I'll hit the air horn, pull out my man boob, and flash the lights like I'm trying to start a fire. If they look like a toolbag and dont wave I like to get some of their paint on my bumper to see if it looks nice on my Jimny! And as far as land rovers go, I know of a long drive and a short dock they might want to see! Absolutely no love lost there!

Oh god I do this!!! Why did Suzuki insist on putting the lights and wipers on the other side to every other car made these days!!!???

Mine is not my daily drive and it takes at least 3 washes of the windscreen each time I drive the Jimjam before I indicate!

Yeah it is annoying but at least the windscreen is always really clean!

I usually wave and get the wave in return. If the Jimny is someone I know I usually give the Klaxon a honk

In my town (Frankston) there is a large Suzuki Dealership so there are more Jimny's here than other places and we usually have a brief chat when we meet in some car park. Friendly mob, us Jimny drivers, maybe cos it is "Us against them".

I remember hopping out of my Jimny one day and this bloke in a Toyota Sahara next to me, says to his Sheila... "What a cute little fourby" swiftly followed by my comment of... "Some of us don't have to compensate!" :evil: which must have hit a chord with the sheila cos she promptly burst out laughing and had to be dragged off by the numnut :whistle:
