Just want to put out there how pleased and greatful I am to Adrian Flux for being cool with the fact I take my 60 plate Jimny out playing! Everybody else wanted the car to be over 7 years old before they'd touch it!

im with flux aswell gone from 612 last year to 400 after payments this year which is well good!!!!

I'm also with flux, they are one of few who will entertain such a highly modded toy and don't seem to bother with how many modifications are made.

Yeah that was another bonus... They were like, unless you actually put a V6 or something stupid in it we really don't care what you do to it :lol:

They gave me the best quote a couple of months ago, I'd seen their ad in a Land Rover Monthly Mag, but I'm not due for renewal until 21st May. In the meantime I crashed my previous car, on the way to the garage to test drive the Jimny. I didn't claim, but the other party has even though I offered to pay the damage as they only had two little dents. I've only been driving 3 years, their quote went from £545 to £1200. I'm not looking forward to renewal time!!

I'm 28 and trying to insure my 2001 3.2 shogun, best online quote so far is about £700
Don't wanna pay half that, My old 3.0 V6 pajero was only a couple of hundred, Again with Flux.

Also just sold a G'Vitara so the shogun replaces this, but my other half has no chance of driving it until she is 25.

Having 3 points for a mobile phone offence don't help now either

Will be phoning Flux up again to get a better price, as they sorted my jimny out cheapest.
Its frustrating that I cannot use my works van to tow my jimny, as this is the only reason I have the shogun, plus I like the comfort! But the tax man wants £3500ish a year then VOSA want a tacho.

I feel robbed!
