Right guys and girls, just sold my old mobile for a lovely £100 and thought id spend the money on the Jimny, ive got a pretty well specd Jim to start with so what would you spend the money on ????

1. Synthetic rope for my winch ( steel ones only few months old )
2. 2inch body lift with steering spacer ( to go along with my 4.5inch lift kit )
3. Put it towards a lockrite rear Locker,

Let me know what youd spend it on,

Lockers imo make things too easy and enjoy having that challenge so out of the list id say bodylift but i personally would just use it on fuel on a few days out in it

i would say deffo a synthetic rope as i hate steel cables on winch's

synthetic rope is much safer, stronger & lighter

I'd go for the rear locker keeps you moving when open diffs just spin a wheel - dont bother with a front its not worth it
then i'd go for a synthetic rope - a lot safer than wire but with a locker you'll use it less - untill you get more adventurous

bet you're confused now

i wouldnt lift it more than you have , diff lock is nice but takes some of the challenge out of it , and rope will depend how much you use the winch
i would put it towards a lobster

I would put it towards some decent towing eyes front and rear. Then a bridle an then if you have any left, the 8m synthetic. Its no good buying a rope if you have nothing to fasten it to.

Decisions decisions, to answer all id love a locker keep finding that i am going further and further in the the tricker stuff now,

A friends giving me a rocklobster so all i have to buy is the mounting kit which i know is not cheap,

Other thing is in the future i want to run 33s so im pretty sure they wouldnt fit under the arches just with a 4.5 lift and trimmed arches,

Synthetic ropes are a good ideal ive seen what i wire rope can do when it snaps :(
Think ill just sit on ebay and see what comes up first, cheers Guys
