This is then reduced down with air hose couplings and air line to look tidy.
My SJ transfer case has had the breather drilled out, tapped and then a Air hose coupling screwed in, this is only possible with the casing opened up or the case will end up full of metal fragments.
Dutchjimny: The transfer case is easy to remove, but the gearbox is a big job.
Ian: Why don't you lower your transfer case down when you fit your KAP brackets? I'm sure the breather is the same as on the diffs so hose pipe will attach to it. The kits Martin has is perfect for the job.

wanderinstar wrote: Yes Gary, will do that as I haven't fitted them yet. What sort of a job is gearbox. Can you get at it through top by removing gear lever gaiters?
Not done my gearbox  Just diffs and transfer box, Not planning on going through much wet stuff as once i've got the jimny back together I want a year off spending on it.
Next weekend will hopefully have the jimny complete minus painted all underneath.
