I've still not found any deep water to test mine in! Might have to wait for a pay and play day!

I'll let you know how it goes when I find some!:)

Chris

Be waiting a long while round here, on the sites i use the lakes are so low you don't need a snorkel

Mines arrived.
I ordered it last thursday and made the payment, which arrived in their bank account on Friday. Arrived this morning (Thursday) so 7 days from day of order/payment.
I was a little surprised when I opened the box, I have previously installed a TJM snorkel on my first jimny about 7 years ago, but this is identical to the TJM, all the fixtures, fittings, even in the same plastic bags and a box that looks remarkably similar. The Quality of the snorkel is right up there with the TJM, its as though its made in the same factory but without the 'TJM' moulding on the side.
I'm really impressed. off out in cold now to fit it.

Get some stud lock before you try and fit it, the snorkel has brass threaded inserts with steel studs to screw in, and locknuts to go on the end, best to studlock the studs in , and also the small screw that holds the bracket on for screwing into the A pillar.

So is the general consensus that these snorkels are worth getting? I dont have funds for one yet but it would be nice to have one lined up. Whats the overall cost includeing p&p? Some close up pics would be nice if any one gets the chance.
It seems everyone is getting one  .

Nobby, they are EXACTLY the same as the TJM one - except that it doesnt say 'TJM' on it obviously.
I didnt take any pictures as I was too busy fitting it !
Cost was about £121 delivered including the £10 international Bank Transfer cost.
Believe me they are worth buying.

Oops, forgot to say that when fitting make sure you seal up the drain hole in the bottom of the airbox with some silicon.

yes these snorkels are exact copies of the TJM, and are very good quality, and at the moment i would say are the best snorkel available for the Jimny for the price, i do have some of these snorkels " on order " from the manufacturer, and you may ask "why are they so cheap?" basically the factory that produce them make thousands of snorkels for all different models, they just do a 3D scan of the original and within no time they have machined out the moulds and are in mass production! I no this as they were willing to make my shorter one for me

Just had an email from Joan, snorkels.es, mine should be here today or Monday at the latest.
It would have been earlier if YORKSHIRE BANK hadn't got their facts and customer service cocked up!
Give me strength.
