Terrible newbie winching 'skills'. How many times did they need a snap.
The steel winch rope that went first, they were lucky it snapped towards the stranded, and not the winch.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I thought the idea with a kinetic rope was to attach it both ends, back up as close as you can, close the hatches down and clear the crew away, then simply drive off at high speed.
Either you recover the stuck vehicle, or the towbar clangs off the armour at the back of your little tank. :whistle:
When I used to go P&P there was always someone with a ferret for recovery: where are they all now?
