If you have a Hafrauds Trade card then their trade price is really good ;)

Just rung them up Martin. They don't list them.Said to go to main dealers.Trouble is it is so small. Have a big Bosch battery that I was going to fit on n/side as an auxiliary battery.Looks like my plans for that have just been brought forward.

They most definitely do both the standard size batteries for Jimnys (there are two sizes fitted, small and tiny). I have bought lots over the years for Jimnys from my local Halfords. If you lived local we could go and get one and fit it trade for you.

Bought one a couple of weeks back, - £89.99 retail, £57 trade.

When I put "Battery Boys" in Google it comes up with firms that do mobile batteries and the like. Also they are in the states. Do you have a link to the one you dealt with?

Another vote for the Halfrauds trade card - mostly because they have a 5 year warranty and are open on Sundays when most tinkering is done. You can blag a trade card if you pick your time carefully when the hauiry assed miseries have gone home- card can be issued at manager's discretion so tellthem you run a fleet of 5 off road vehicles and regularly spend £600 a month on bits;)

Cheers mate. Just bought one. Hope it gets here before Christmas.
The garage I bought the car off assured me it was a good battery. When I rang him up about it, he didn't want to know.Makes me feel better. the thought that I still have the spare key for the p/ex. It will probably cost him more than a battery to get a new remote key.Haha.
