there used to be a tool for the clips , would be easy to make
some flat bar 2-3mm thick with a slot cut in the end , push this between the body and trim so the slot goes around the clip
then give it a gentle tug as you are exerting the same force all around the clip its less likely to snap

That must be the problem on mine, the trim won't go back on, but it's dark outside and I can't see a thing.

Hi there uv taken mine off a couple of times and replaces them without using any glue. If you want there is a tool on eBay (panel removing tool) I think it's named as, but this could be very easily made as already said. To put back on I always put the clips back on the body then offer the trim back up to the clips and give it a tap and it should clip back on one by one. If not you can get the new clips off eBay for pence or your local Suzuki garage. You might find some rust under neith these trims especially on the arches. Very easy to trim with a jig saw.
Thanks

I use Sikaflex to glue mine back on ... its used for boat repairs ... be careful, its like sticking sh1t to a blanket ... let it set overnight and they WON'T come off (honest) ...

Ha ha that sikoflex is brilliant but awful to use at the same time. You could use this to stick the wheels on it's that strong. Just make sure you have some panel wipe by your side to get any excess off.

I have somewhere the entire spare parts list for the Jimny so I was able to get some additional ones from the local dealer (not the one that supplied the car, because they are useless and I won't be giving them any more money). They cost me about £4 for 3.
