Hi mate it all depends of your budget really. There is one on eBay for about £160 I think or you could get some pipe from B&Q or some exhaust pipe. I would save up for a propper snorkel to be honest but it depends on how you want it to look.

I was about to start a thread on the same subject!
There's a spanish company that knock them out for about £90ish. They emailed me back in good time and their next batch is due shortly. They look like good quality efforts.

I have been looking at being able to knock something up that will still look tidy. None of this drainpipe lark! I had a thought that you could remove the airbox and link directly to the inlet hose, into the wing and route the pipe inside the wing as with the short snorkels. Use a 90deg silicone hose to join it at the bottom of the a pillar, run a length of stainless up the a pillar and top with a cone filter. I can't see any reason why it would look shonky if put together properly, i know plenty of people running them in a similiar way when a cage prevents the fitting of a moulded snorkel.
For under £30 it could easily be achieved, I'm itching to fit a snorkel to finish a couple of other jobs - wiring my roof lights up and my breathers, i'm running the light wiring behind the snorkel out of sight.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!
