Hi! I know this post is a bit old, but i'm also curious about this. A brief research revelead that they have the Star58 reduction gears that will fit my VVT Jimny, but only reduces in low in about 58% (great!).
Found other Ring and Pinion sets (see attached). Anyone know what it is? Will it fit my Jimny? Sorry, i'm lame in this stuff... All i know is that i want to run 30" tires and need gearing. The other reduction gear option for VVT Jimnys is from Switzerland. Altought they ship worldwide, they do not accept credit card or paypal, only bank transfer. This annoyed me badly!
Also, i'm going to Japan late this year and was wondering where to buy APIO stuff locally. Anybody know where the APIO stores are? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Thiago

Most people on here switch to rocklobster box (much stronger and better ratio's) and ditch the jimny one so changing the gears in one is not very common but someone may have done it with apio gears.

Hi, no one knows if APIO produces a gear set, similar to Star58, but suitable for first type of reductors, with chain transmission?
