Is it just Monsoon ? So no competition lets them charge as much as they want ?

Does anybody else make them ?

I have a dark blue 2001 & I'd really like dark blue.

In the past for my LJ, SJ & Vitara I've bought red, yellow & even lilac... but now I just have the choice of black or white.

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

The pic on that link is just a monsoon hood...? just looks like a dealer to me..

Monsoon are only a couple of miles up the road from us, we are just about to build a new demo Jimny for the company, and we'll be using a Monsoon fastback hood on it. ;)

I'm sure Monsoon will make roofs to order it just takes a bit longer, I know Dirtydogz had some modifications to his when he got it from them. I suspect they just carry black and white in stock...

Give them a call B)

I looked at the image on 4x4x4.com & the poppers look like a Monsoon jobby.

I called Monsoon before posting..... They're currently out of white so I can chose from any shade of Black.

I asked if they'd do me Navy blue...... An emphatic No... black or white only
Rob can you speak to them ? Maybe the girl I spoke to was her TOM

FYI
Lilac was for the ex-girfriend's Sammi

On the assumption that you currently have a working soft top then it may be worth while asking a marine specialist to replace the "canvas" only

Google "boat covers"

Thanks for the link.

Martin... Its got a hard top at the moment (which I'm keeping)

Going to try Monsoon again & try to speak to a cheerier person, becauseif they're out of white & waiting for material to mke new ones why can't they make one in blue ?
So much for customer service.
Obviously no recession in the sof top business

I tried carhoods. They just do black & white & even more than Monsoon. They actually referred me to Monsoon.

So I called monsoon again.
I spoke to them again about cutting me a custom colour after they cut the new batch of white.
They agreed but it will be at extra cost as the hot knives they use will have to be cleaned before & after my custom dark blue.
I'm just waiting for a price, hopefully by Monday, which I'll post up here incase anyone else is interested and wants one.
