It was a length of brake pipe (about 4mm OD and 2mm bore) and about 50 cm long connected via a 500A contactor so it effectively shorts out the battery through the brake pipe. I had a screen washer pump forcing water through it. By carefully adjusting the length, the water came out at about 95 degrees.
I just had a pipe sticking out of the dash with a button next to it which made boiling water shoot out the pipe. Good for making hot tea in traffic jams and as a useful security device - you won't be going far with a flat battery and 3rd degree burns to your 'bits'!
It made pretty good tea - and was highly dangerous. Doesn't get much better than that!

The boxes are made by Autohome, and are priced at £1400+ depending on materails and sizes! See Pricelist for details.
