Hi there

Been thinking on putting a winch on my 2001 jimny and the T-Max EW-6500 12V 6500 lbs Winch seems to be the most common one used when fitting a winch with a standard bumper without having to fit a winch bumper. any suggestions ???

Ryan.

I would consider saving up for a new one as you'll need to strip a second hand one to find out it's condition really. It can look all shiny but be full of rust and mud.

With new you know what you're getting.

Not cheap I know!

I agree - we got one with the jimny - connected it up to try out the electrics and it went fizzz, bang, lots of black smoke - never moved so fast :P - opened the motor up and its was a lovely shade of reddy brown
