Hi Andrew
I think most people have to make their own as the ones that are available tend to be simply side steps and even then I wouldn't let anything heavier than my dog step on them
don't know if you've seen this www.4x4community.co.za Rockslider thread

don't know of any that are good quality bolt on & the way i see it is why would anyone buy some that you have to weld on yourself it just sounds so silly to me cus if you are capable of welding them on you should be capable of making them yourself so no point paying someone else to make them

As I understand, its difficult to make bolt/clamp on rock sliders because of the proximity of the floor to the chassis, and also on the drivers side because of the amount of pipework that runs down the inside of the chassis. So weld on ones are a good way of providing the solution. However if you neither have the skills nor equipment to weld them on youself, but know somebody that has, then these are a good solution.

bolt on ones would be fine with a body lift.
as you said above if you know someone who can weld then you could weld some on but still no point buying some that weld on as you could just get your welder to knock them together as well
