It was in Grizedale (so I'm told, I had to ask   )

Ah, I thought it looked familiar! That would be a bugger to drive up.

Yes, one of the lads wanted to drive up it in his Disco 3 but was talked out of it as we had had a good day without anything going wrong. And he is the type to keep trying until he got up even if it meant getting towed home.

Next time you go to the Lakes, get a permit for the Gatescarth Pass. Your Jimny will enjoy it. Best way is North to South.

Gatescarth Pass isn't worth the effort, and getting a "Pass" is tough, and if on the day you have your "Pass" the weather is bad, they close the route. I've done it once in my old SJ413 - it was a doddle.

Oh and Gatescarth Pass is just ONE LANE is the Lakes ... .there's about another 250 to go at.

Jalapeño, IISY?

Another case of word blindness, it's the pass that's tough and getting the pass that's easy, it's just a matter of chance, and the weather.

a fairly rare moment that 3 of the 4 family Jimnys were all at the stables at the same time....mostly all 3 there in a day .....but hours between .
