Colour codes was created by Chilgrove
I wonder if anyone knows about the correct colour code for the grey under my bonnet? The car is year 2006 and the colour plate says Z2U C31. I know the Z2U refers to the body colour (cats eye blue) because Halfords have just made some up for me but I have no way of knowing how to get the grey colour.
Appreciate any suggestions.

the paint code is in the engine bay on the back bulkhead just above and to the right of the battery - if it was like ours it was buried inder several layers of mud

Thanks ZookFastback for the information. I will have a look at that site and see if it helps. Halfords here in Dundee do not keep a good stock of Suzuki paint but if you tell them the paint code they will make it up and mine was a good colour match. However had a hell of a job getting the top off. Allegedly you press down and turn. Did not work and ended up being a bit violent with it and poured the paint into a jar. It was ok as I used the lot anyway. They also do wee touch up containers with a tiny brush and that is fine.
