Okay... I'm giving this thread a big bump!
I have also been thinking of lowering the Jimny... Not for stability, or handling or to join the JDM scene... I just think it would be different! I've never seen a lowered Jimny and would love to see one, and mine never goes off-road so there's nothing stopping me! I'm going to look into it

Bringing up and old post, Unsure why everyone is ripping on this idea
I have my jimny fully kitted out for 4x4ing, but where I am in Aus they close all tracks from early June - Late September
also being into drifting I was thinking it would be a cool concept to over these closed periods, slam the jimny, stiffen up the suspension for minimal body roll, revert back to a set of 26" road tires and use it for drift purposes
By the looks of it though it seems a bit harder than expected to find any sort of lowering kits for these
May have to conjure something up myself

Nobody does one off the shelf, but I'm sure you could find some stiffer springs for it from another car.
