New Grabber AT was created by NewToJimny
Just noticed that some sites are starting to stock the new Grabber AT in 215/75 . If anyone gets these I'd be interested to know how they fit on an unmodified Jimny. Thought about getting the AT2 but don't want to be in a position where if I damage one I can't get a replacement. Seems you can still get the AT2 in 205/75. Will be making some sort of purchase before the snow comes. Just got the standard Bridgestones on at the mo. :woohoo:

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

I can't comment on how they perform or what they are like on a jimny but i have seen a few trucks with them on and having seen them up close the tread doesn't look as aggressive as the at2's. I'm sure they would be great on an essentially road going truck but i would be interested to hear how they perform off road.
The AT2's on mine have been great and worn well, i'm after an aggressive tread but may go with 2 sets and swap wheels i can run with something really aggressive for play days then.

I have the std Bridgestones on the back and 'roadstone' on the front and spare
I didn't fit the roadstones (budget rubbish), they were put on by the previous owner after 3 of the originals were badly scored... i have no idea what happeded!
They handled the snow great didn't slip... even when i booted it in 4x4!
I'm looking to get a set of BF's and maybe an agressive set for laning... but that will be further down the line.
Can i get std size BF's? not too keen on running bigger tyres as its my only vehicle and i do a fair few miles on the road.

New General Grabber AT's 205/75R15 will be available in the UK at the end of July - I've got 4 on pre-order after having contacted the General in Germany .:woohoo:
The 215/75R15's have been available for a little while
If your thinking of getting the 205 AT2's, I suggest you get 5 as replacements will not be available - that said, some say there's no problem mixing old and new styles
Will post feedback on the AT's when I've got some (before the snow hopefully) - want my AT's now to junk those hideously dangerous Bridgestones :pinch:

IIRC bfg do both at and mt in stock sizes but you will pay the premium of course, imo the grabbers are as good and cheaper. You will have to deviate from the stock size of course for grabbers but the difference is negligable.adamatdraycott wrote: Can i get std size BF's? not too keen on running bigger tyres as its my only vehicle and i do a fair few miles on the road.

the std 205/70/R15 has a 668mm dia
the 205/75/R15 has a 688.5mm dia
that's 20.5mm taller
(however, as you'll be off-road so much more, you can let the pressures down and loose a few mm :silly: )
and when the speedo reads 60mph, you'll be doing 61.8mph :woohoo:
