1320 top rear light with zero body lift 1800 wide cant see that coming under the heading of unstable

I just know that it is too tall even in stock form to load bicycles on a roof mounted bicycle carrier.
When you lift a bicycle that high (high above your head), you have to struggle a lot not to get overturned by it!
While you are struggling, it is quite risky to scratch the car's paintwork with the bicycle.
Stepping up on the door sill, to gain height, just makes you more unstable.
