215 'REMOULDS' fit standard jimny ?? was created by Bannerbrother
i been told that the largest tyres you can fit on a standard jimny are 215x75x15 without cutting the arches.

Would a remould like insa saharas fit ?? as remoulds seem to be all over the place when it comes to sizes. (insa's always seem larger)

Or does anyone no who makes remoulds which are closest to the size stated.

Re-treads, basically re-treading a used tyre.

How do remoulds / re-treads compare, insa's seem larger than quoted.
Does anyone know about kingpin, fedima, malatesta and recip ???

i think most are larger than stated, think it will be a case of "trail and error" unless someone with the same size you want has already got them fitted.

The tread on some of the extreme muds etc are massive which is what hits the arch's mainly.

I have a Jimny with a 2 inch suspension lift. I just recently mounted 215/75/15 Fedima Frontiera's. The traction is awesome. They do not rub anywhere when turning but they are too tall and now bumps that never were a problem with the 205's cause the tires to hit the ARB winch bumper. Need at least a 2 inch body lift to get back what I had. This is my first set of remoulds and so far I have no complaints. It is my understanding that a remould is different than a retread, but don't know in what way. Hope this helps.
